| need help have a cb550 inline 4 motor i bought that i"M putting in a 71 cb500 frame was going to use the 500 wireing but the connect from rectifer has different end where it plugs into 550 moter, the plug on 550 motor has a male plug with these wires in it 3 yellow on i"m gussing the top then 1green wire then on bottom or maybe top 1white wire,1green/red stripe wire ,then 1blue/red strips wire -----the rectifer i have has 3yellow wires,1green and 1red wire and a smaller female plug if you have any info that might help that would be grate as need to get running is a gift to step daughter | |

| Good on you Satanic Mechanic, a lot of not only interesting but accurate information on bike tuning from this area. FYI, eye used to race a CB900F in early 80's, and still have a Bimota KB1 from that era that still puts a grin on my face when it comes to the bendy bits with others on R1's and GSXR1000's.
